The body on the Suburban is totally solid and rust free as any lifelong AZ truck should be, nd it never saw salt so chrome looks new. I have inspected the body and cannot find a single spot of rust. The truck has lived its life in the Sunny Arizona climate and had always been well cared for and garaged. The axles and suspension case are all stock, nd ride height has been modified with high quality lowering kit that maintains a smooth, actory like ride. This truck has never seen any off-road use or abuse judging by its perfect exterior condition. Everything runs and functions as it should. The exterior is nicely customized with color matched mirrors, oor handles, umpers, nd a custom rear roll pan. Custom rear LED tail lamps really finish off the custom look.
The Suburban is riding on upgraded 17" Boyd Coddington polished aluminum wheels with Michelin tires. The setup is a little different than the original setup the vehicle came with and it looks great! The truck rides amazing even with the upgraded street suspension. Tires show good life.
The interior is in great shape all around. The original windshield is in very nice condition and the glass is chip free. The gray leather bucket seats are all in very good shape and look like new. All dials and controls function as they should and are illuminated at night. The dashboard is in excellent shape with no cracks. The sound system is stock and remains crystal clear. The rear rows are great to carry extra passengers, nd all eight seating positions have seat belts. Carpets are all perfect with no ware spots or damage. The rear compartment and carpets are in such clean condition! Original GM rubber floor mats are still on board.
Mechanically, this Burban runs GREAT! It starts right up and shifts great. The 7.4L V8 engine has never been neglected and runs like a top! This is a 2500 model which has the larger motor and allows for significantly higher towing capacity than the 1500. The larger engine pairs up nicely with the two-wheel drive to make this street truck complete. Every mechanical system on this truck was gone through and given a clean bill of health. A/C compressor was replaced in 2009 and keeps front and rear passengers cool. The engine compartment was fully detailed to show condition. The truck is tight as a drum and doesn't leak a drop of anything. Everything under the hood is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition and OEM parts are used throughout. Factory HP rating for this truck was 290hp but with all of the mods helping this breathe cleaner expect somewhere around 340hp. Fuel tank holds 42 gallons of fuel and has a range of about 600 miles.
All in all, his is one of the cleanest and well put preserved Suburban's that I have had the privilege of being associated with. It has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous owner. This is a fantastic example and will be the envy of any true Chevy lover!
