Now that trucks have earned a spot in collector's hearts, ou're going to find some pretty nice haulers on the market. Few will be as gorgeous and well-finished as this 1972 Chevrolet C10 pickup, owever. As the recipient of a recent and intensive restoration, his truck is an excellent choice for local show and cruise nights, nd with a sweet-running (and unusual) inline-six, t's even more fun for the guy behind the wheel. This truck looks to have spent its life in a warm climate, s it's quite straight and very tidy in all the places that matter. The cab and stepside bed were recently refinished, lthough thanks to its excellent care over the past 36 years, o body panels required replacement and there is no sign of major body filler anywhere on it. The paint is two-stage urethane in a cheerful bright blue, great look that's appealing, eriod-perfect, nd quite nicely done. Panels fit together quite well and every detail has been adjusted to make this one of the tightest trucks we've ever represented. The stepside bed makes any truck look sporty and it works extremely well here to emphasize the great old truck look. There's not a lot of trim on the truck, ut the bright chrome bumpers are excellent and the stock grille shows no signs of its age. The bed is complemented by an oak bed, ightly stained to look bright against the blue paint but probably too nice for work duty these days. The blue bench seat interior definitely sports some upgrades, aking this heavy hauler to a whole new level. The seat is in excellent condition wearing a brand new factory-style seat cover, omplete with that distinctive tooled saddle pattern, nd the door panels with their matching detailing are just as nice. You'll also note that this truck carries under-dash air conditioning, hich was recently installed works properly thanks to R134a refrigerant and modern hardware under the hood. And yes, hat's "three-on-the-three" shifting, hich makes this pickup fun to drive and adds an old-fashioned feel that's often lost on trucks with upgrades. Other features include an AM/FM/CD stereo radio, ower steering and front disc brakes. The "camera case" finish on the gauge panel was a popular finish at the time (the same stuff was found on Mustangs of the period) and the big, egible gauges are some of the most attractive ever fitted to a pickup truck. The engine is a 250 cubic inch inline-6, hich was popular when new but almost never seen today. Rebuilt in the recent past, t runs like new and makes good power and torque, long with smooth six-cylinder noises that are almost forgotten today. It's quite nicely detailed, earing Chevy Orange paint like its big brothers, lus a factory-style air cleaner on a 2-barrel carburetor. Note all the new hardware, oses, lamps, nd wiring used throughout; there's almost nothing under the hood that's more than a few years old. The 3-speed manual transmission shifts crisply and drives the original rear end, hich, nterestingly enough, angs on leaf springs, o it rides and handles far better than you'd expect for a vintage pickup. The single exhaust is plenty for the six and it makes great truck-like sounds that will bring a smile to your face if you grew up before V8s were so ubiquitous. It rolls on a set of beautiful American Racing Torque Thrust rims with big 235/65/17 Goodyear tires that really fill the fenders. With the obvious quality of the work, his is a truck you can buy with confidence. They simply don't get much nicer than this. Call today!
