1955 Chevrolet Cameo

1955 Chevrolet "Cameo". This truck started out life as a 3200 long bed small back window. It had the cameo bed added before I bought it after they had cut and stepped the frame (excellent quality work) giving it a 6" drop in back. A 4" dropped axle was added up front. I installed the S10 5 speed trans. and installed the big back window. Did all the body work and painted it SEM Hotrod Black. This is a single stage semi gloss paint, OT primer. I added a 1 piece fiberglass rear bumper. Upholstered thestock bench seat using a new '53 Army medical blanket (the insignia is centered in the backrest). Installed OEM rubber matts over Dynamat and installed new headliner insert. All new window and door rubber. All windows tinted.

Has all new Hankook tires (distributed by Diamondback), 54 Chevy hubcaps that I stripped the chrome off of and had the stainless polished and replaced the center caps with new aftermarket pieces.goodbrakes, ew radiator, tock, riginalsteering and suspension.No radio or turn signals, ut wiring is there for the signals.

It's not show quality, ut it's close. I drove it to the West Coast Customs show and back, 0-80mph, o problems, o over heating, 4.5 mpg.Only 300 miles on "restoration". Since real Cameos are selling in the high $20's I think this is fairly priced and the reserve is reasonable. BUT, he truck is selling.
