1958 Impala 2 door Hardtop, late 50's style mild custom

1958 chevy Impala 2 door Hardtop, ate 50's style mild custom. nosed and decked with door handles removed. Electric trunk. This car had a frame off resotration five years ago with new floor pans from the firewall to the rear bumper, ncluding a new gas tank. Front disc brakes with a chrome booster and master cylinder. Powering this beauty down the road is a rebuilt 348 tri-power motor with custom finned aluminum Chevrolet valve covers. 700-R transmission. Keeping the motor very cool is an aluminum radiator with an electric fan which allows slow cruising the major shows on a hot day and keeping the temp around the 180 degree range. It never overheats. Steering has been updated with a rebuilt box driven by a late model Caddy pump. Chrome Ididit column with a Billet custom wheel wrapped in leather matching the interior. Custom interior is leather and is a gray/blue color that gives off a lavender type hue in certain light. A custom one off gauge panel with Classic Instrument gauges monitors the workings of the motor. Wiring is by a Ron Francis wiring harness. Chrome reverse wheels with baby moons and wide whitewalls complement the custom look. Custom pinstripping by noted brush artest Jan Wisecarver add to the custom look disered for this cruiser. Custom industries hidden sterio in the trunk. This car is a Goodguys award winner at the Columbus PPG Nationals (Way Cool award). There are a set of fender skirts that go with the car and are already painted body color. This is one cool cruiser and gets looks and thumbs upwherever it goes.
