1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SUPER SPORT COUPE 396 4SPD SURVIVOR CONDITION

This auction is for a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport. 396 V-8 350 h, 4bb, sp, 2 bolt posi, 9000 original miles.Original cortez silver car, lack vinyl top and red interior. And what I would call close to a survivor quality car. My best friend owns this car and would really like to keep it but if it brings the right price it will be sold. The car has had 4 previous owners since new. A lot of the information I received about the car was from the 3rd owner who is also a good friend of mine. He wishes he never sold the car but needed the funds at the time. The car has always been in Maine and never subjected to the weather. He had the car freshened up when he owned it . There was only 2 small rust spots on the bottom of each front fender and a small dent on the drivers door bottom. The car was sent ou, epaired and re painted . Still has original paint in the door jams and original spackle paint in the trunk. I have receipts and pictures for every thing that was done. The car still retains it's original vinyl top. The underside is nice and clean . Keep in mind the car has all it's original sheet metal no patch panels or repairs except what i specified. Sorry for the under hood pics of all the dust but just got it out of storage. The interior is all original with the exception of the 2 front bucket seat covers. Has a factory Am-Fm radio. Original bumpers, heels, tc. The car runs and drives beautifully. As far as an original engine is concerned I checked the numbers and it is a 1970 396 350 hp CTX code motor but the sequence numbers do not corrispond with the vin. In talking to the prior owner he beleives it is still the original one but the numbers don't lie. As far as we know the transmission and rear end are original to the car. It has had brand new dual exhaust front to back and is still shiny. I have a folder full of receipt, riginal owners manual in the plastic chevrolet envelope. The consumer information booklet. And a small paper sheet that was under the seatThat has id , tyle #, rim #, eq#, nd 1 option. This is not the build sheet.
