1965 Corvette highly customized body ( resembles 65 grand sport racing model) with 1978 Corvette 350 motor and automatic trans. new paint and new custom interior. This car has had a lot of custom bodywork done by prior owner. I purchased in May 2004 and will list what's been done since that time. We have been adding to the vehicle as time and money permits. The nose is custom with lights mounted under and the 78 hood bubble/mechanism incorporated. The wheel wells were built out and the tail ducked. Door handles are shaved and almost all chrome and Corvette emblems removed with door poppers. All of this work was done before I purchased it. We had the car painted and windows tinted at a cost of $7. 00. We installed Hooker headers and 5 inch side pipes with mufflers for $2. 00. Even with the mufflers. you will hear this car coming for blocks. A lot of chrome under the hood including custom 350 valve covers and air cleaner. hi output chrome alternator. chrome master cylinder. All hoses and AC lines. belts etc. were replaced. New motorized antenna. Over $3. 00 invested in Centerline drag series wheels (8 inch front 10 inch rear) with BF Goodrich radial TA all around. We also installed Edelbrock shocks at a cost $500. The interior is all new with custom black leather seats accented with red piping done by Sabitini Coach Works at a cost of $6. 00. The red piping really look sharp on the seats and doors. The customize nature of this car is one-of-a-kind and a real eyecatcher. Not the car for the Corvette purists but a fun car to drive on a Sunday cruise. Turns heads everywhere we go. We purchased this car as we love the modified look on it and it had AC for cruising in comfort. Been driving summers since 2006. average about 1. 00 miles a year. I have another Corvette and alternate driving but now that I'm retired the wife says I need to cut back a bit on the car hobby. Hate to give up this baby but my loss is your gain!
