Rare 1951 Chevy 5 Window Pickup / Hot Rod / Project Truck This is a Rare 1951 Chevy 5 Window Pickup in progress restoration / build and in need of finishing the restoration. Currently a rolling chassis with a SBC 350 high performance engine and TH350 trans. The engine is a running engine with about 19K on it and was removed from a 79 elcamino and the following NEW items added to it; Engine disassembled and New gaskets and seals. New oil pump and screen New double row timing chain New chrome T/C cover New chrome fuel pump New Aluminum finned polished oil pan New polished performer type intake manifold New aluminum finned valve covers and air cleaner New braided stainless tranny kick down assembly / cable New stainless headers. This sale ALSO COMES WITH (but not yet installed): New valve cover breathers New aluminum water pump pulley and alternator pulley New aluminum finned tranny pan New accell plugs and ignition wires New ball milled wire looms New billet HEI distributor with clear cap Also included is a complete updated wiring harness for the truck. Truck has rust in typical areas. but easily reparable PLUS all the required sheet metal comes with the truck. Sale also includes (and not installed ) a new GM chrome tilt steering column with 9 hole adapter. This truck has also just had; A complete new front disc brake conversion. and power steeting conversion completed. Has the original rear end. This truck also comes with the bed and rear fenders. no tailgate but we stock tailgates for purchase both new and used. No running boards but we can supply these also. If you add all this up with the price for purchasing a 5 window truck there is well over 9k in this truck and most of the hard work has been done like the engine / tranny swap. disc brake conversion. and power steering conversion. therefore. the reserve is approximately half of the investment which is a great deal on this vehicle.
