Description

Selling my 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe LT, 8 passenger, 2 wheel drive (rwd), 5.3L V-8 automatic, 122500 miles, fully loaded with leather seats, ice cold air, towing package, 20" rims with good tires with more than half tread remaining, also have the original 16" wheels that I will include, but like most GM wheels of this year the clear coat has peeled away on the rims. The truck has never been driven in winter so there is no rust, it was used to pull a 24' camper during the summer then stored in winter, it has also been undercoated to prevent rust. The only spot on the truck showing signs of rust is above the windshield there are 2 spots (see picture). The truck has been well maintained with regular oil changes using synthetic oil. The rear brakes were changed last fall, and a new battery this spring. The only reason we are selling it is we no longer tow a camper and my wife finds it too large to use as an everyday vehicle.
The following are the flaws with the vehicle: 1. the engine light comes on occasionally and I checked the code and it is for a loose gas cap. 2. when driving slow in a parking lot the ABS light will come on, but as soon as you give it gas it goes off, was told it was the "slow speed ABS sensor" which are only $30 each and easy to change. 3. the drivers side heated seat doesn't always work. 4. the drivers seat has a little wear in the leather (see pictures), but the rest of the interior is in excellent shape.
The truck is located in Magog Quebec which is 30 minutes north of the Derby Line Vermont border crossing. The truck originally came from Massachusetts so bringing it back to the US will be no problem. I also have a letter from DOT stating that my truck is admissible to the US.
The truck does have a "rebuilt" status as it was in an accident in 2006 with front end damage (hood, fender, grill and airbag), but no frame damage or engine damage. You cannot tell that it was damaged. The truck is in overall excellent condition for the year with very low mileage. If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
