Somebody already did the hard work on this one. With beautiful new paint, a Brazilian Cherry wood bed, an enhanced V8, and a five-speed, all you need to do to have fun immediately is come down and pick up this recently, high quality restored 1955 Chevrolet 3100.The color is officially Mariner Blue, which is what you could get from the factory in 1955, but it never looked this good. This pickup is the product of a serious investment in getting all the workman panels back to factory-style straight, and then having a professional hand spray on the correct blue with enough clearcoat to make it shine like a true star. Add to this the bumpers, grille, badges, bezels, handles, and all other trim that shine like new mirrors. The full package looks particularly good because the new-for-'55 styling of Chevy's Task Force pickups have a forward leaning cab that just begs for a custom aggressive setup like this one. In fact, the series seems destine for performance upgrades investment with the extra flair in the fenders and wraparound windshield. In fact, this one also has the rare, big wraparound rear glass, too. The final touch is new wood in the truck bed with everything, including the side rails, made out of warm Brazilian Cherry wood.More investment in this custom truck is instantly apparent the moment you open the door. The pattern of the bench seat nicely coordinates with the doors and dash. It gives this '55 pickup the feeling like it's a high end '55 Bel Air. But this is more comfortable than anything from the '50s, thanks to the AM/FM stereo with CD changer and ice-cold air conditioning (all of which have been installed without ruining the classic style appearance.) But the best treats are reserved for the driver. You get a three-spoke sports steering wheel, Classics Instruments full gauge panel, and an upgraded stick shift that fits perfectly in your right hand. But the best upgrade is under the hood. This one has a Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8 that's show-ready thanks to features like the Chevrolet branded shiny valve covers and air cleaner. Plus, the block and intake have been hit with a new bold red. But this is a pickup made for driving, and so you get the confidence that comes from a freshly rebuilt motor, and a project that only has 913 miles on it since completion. You'll love the feeling it has on the road thanks to the performance enhancements like the four-barrel carburetor and mild cam. The rear end is geared for power take-offs, and the Tremec five-speed transmission means you've always the right gear for big power or easy highway cruising. The modern radial tires and front disc brakes help amplify this drive anywhere attitude.Take a look at all the pictures, including the super clean undercarriage shots, and you'll see the extremely high quality of this build. We're even got receipts and spreadsheets showing over $66K invested in the frame off restoration. So you'll understand just how much went into the build and why you have to hurry up and grab this deal. Call today!!
