I bought this 1966 Chevy Stepside in Sarasot, Florida and it was owned by that family for over 13 years as indicated in the title. This truck is not a pristine trailer queen and it is not a perfect 25 thousand dollar truc, it does have some imperfection, but still a nice truck . the paint shines great. It has power steerin, works great and does not lea, it also has power drum brakes and it does help stopping and is fun to drive . This is not a nut and bolt restoration but many parts have been replaced new . The windshield and seal are new, the weather strip in both doors is new, the window cranks inside both doors are new, the door handles in and out are new, rear window seal is new, reverse light lenses are ne, tail lights are new, front turn signal lenses and chrome bezels are new, tail gate hinge bushings are new, brake, clutch and gas pedal are new, all three brake hose, all brake wheel cylinders and brake master cylinder are about one year ol, the metal strips and bolts in the bed are new, the light in glove box works, blower work, am radio works, lights and turn signals wor, horn works, wipers wor, gas cap and neck rubber seal are new . the point distributor was replaced with a maintenance free electronic distributo, parking brake work, front tires where dusty but one year old and less than 1,000 mile, heater has pin hol, will try to solder . the wheel jack and handle are under driver seat mounted with original spring hold down in factory location . see owners manual . will mount tailgate chains in next two days, floor rug looks like a Lowes ru, I have the new black letters for the tail gate and grill and will leave in glove box with owners manual, or for safety I can mail to new owner.
