You're looking at a real-deal 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS with an enhanced growl in its V8 heart and a deluxe interior. It's this kind of presentation that will make this one move quickly at such an affordable price. Is there a better paint color for a Rally Sport Camaro than Corvette's Rally Red? Not only does it make a bold statement, but also it really gives some nice distinction to the darker RS-specific elements like the concealed headlights and gas cap. The sporty package continues with the front air damn and D80 rear spoiler. But this car is not only intimidation on wheels. These first-year Camaros look their best when the bumpers, rocker trim, and hood louvers all have a mirror shine like this one. It all is tied together with the iconic rally wheel package that conveys both a bright appearance and a muscle car attitude. The interior is one of the coolest time warps you'll ever find. It starts with the factory-correct bucket seat interior. This is the deluxe trim, so you get the correct white streak in the vinyl seats. In between is the desirable center console that's also on the original trim tag. All of this looks nice and dark right down to the thick carpeting. But it's not a total midnight appearance, with plenty of bright trim on everything from the cool original RS wheel to the knob-style AM/FM/cassette stereo. You'll love to see the original gauges set in the deep dual pod layout, but those won't be your favorite readouts. The Motor-Minder vacuum gauge below the dash and the bar-style tach on top of the dash are two great classics that come with the coupe. Neither of these relics are currently functioning, but the mere sight of these vintage gauges are worth some stories.Under the hood is Chevrolet's trusty and powerful 327 cubic-inch V8. It's dressed nicely with the correct Chevy orange paint on the block and intake. There's even some nice flash with the bright air cleaner and valve covers. No outrageous add-ons, just the cool factory-style 327 stickers in a well maintained package. So the overall impression is the same kind of period-correct honesty that also gets those cool vintage gauges attention. But like any good Camaro, it has a nice performance streak. The headers and H-pipe Flowmaster dual exhaust provide an extra dose of power and a healthy rumble to the soundtrack. But even with an intimidating hum, this coupe has some nice anytime driving features like power steering and the Powerglide automatic transmission.A first-year, real-deal RS is always in demand, and at this price it's hard to go wrong. You've always wanted one, and now it's within reach. Call now!!
