Overall Description
For sale is a very well maintained and tastefully upgraded 1997 Corvette. Most of the car’s modifications, tuning, maintenance and setup were performed by SCCA, NASA and Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational champion Danny Popp at McCluskey Chevrolet in Cincinnati, OH (the car is currently in the Boston area). The car is setup to be legal in SCCA’s ASP autocross class and NASA’s TTA class. Mileage on the car is around ~145k (I am still driving it). Everything on the car functions as it should… I am very meticulous and like things to work as they should!
Modifications
All upgrades were installed with a purpose; not necessarily for outright speed but rather to eliminate any weak points in the drivetrain or chassis. There are no flashy modifications here. Just solid, purposeful upgrades to make the car quick and bullet proof. Danny Popp is one the most respected Corvette racers and mechanics out there and systematically upgraded this car based his vast experience. I have receipts of all modifications and maintenance performed on the car since new.

The bad
Nose of the car has lots of rock chips, typical for a low car with high mileage. (Pictured below)
Rocker panel below driver’s door has gouge in fiberglass from running over a piece of wood in the road. (Pictured below)
Climate control head unit sometimes does not turn on when car is started. Only happens occasionally, and will turn on within 5 minutes of driving when it does happen.
