RELISTED DUE TO NON PAYING BIDDER. 1965 Chevelle SS in very restorable condition, complete car minus motor. Was a 283 v-8 car with powerglide transmission(correct powerglide and linkage come with car not in pics) Floors are original rust free and very nice as are the rockers, trunk has a few spots(see pics) and both outer quarters have rust in them but inner wheelhouses are really good with just a few small spots that can be repaired. Deck lid needs replaced and doesnt latch as it was hit above the bumper in 1981 and parked. All easily repaired and parts are readily available. Doors shut like new. Around windows, inner doors, and door jambs look really good just a few spots of surface rust but no rot i can see. Interior is 100 percent complete but needs redone. All glass is nice except for windshield. Car retains most of its original paint. Dash is uncut and has original radio, ss badge and correct guage cluster. Has a trunk load of parts that goes with (see pics). This car has not been on the road since 1981 and will need a complete restoration but is a very good candidate for a complete restore as it has minimal rust for the year and has never been cut up in any way. It has always been in the high desert of Montana since new. Someone stole the ss emblems from the quarter panels and deck lid as well as the tailight lenses and headlight bezels but otherwise is all there. The plates on the car expired in 82 i believe and the title is free and clear and is dated 1981. Everything i have for the car transmission, driveline, crossmember ect fits in the trunk and can be transported this way. Cars brakes do not work. If your looking for a real 65 ss to restore this is the one. What you see is what you get, there is no 50 years of changing hands and butchering to hide here, its an honest car unrestored and original. Will need a ton of work but will be worth it in the end. Reserve is set low for this car and i will entertain offers to end listing as car will be for sale locally as well but will not give out reserve price, if you want to own it make me an offer and be ready to make payment. On a side note i believe the rear wheels on this car a vintage 14 inch magnesium cragar mags from the early 70's and have some value all to themselves. Thanks and good luck bidding.
