1958 Chevrolet Delray

6 cyl. 235 engin, automatic transmission in car. Comes with original 235 6 cyl engine . Also stick transmission and most parts to change it back to standard transmission. Information from the 80 yr old previous seller was that the original engine and transmission were good and that he just wanted an automatic. They are included in this auction. Also that he thought the engine in car is a 1961 235.This car is very solid and straight. Runs and stops well. Grabs when stopping, maybe because of the brake booster. Only rust I have found other than surface rust is a very little by the gas door. The floor pans are solid. A little fiberglass in the trunk. Left rear quarter panel and both rear doors have been scraped and filled with Bondo.. All glass is good All window and door mechanisms are good and working. Doors close solid. 44000 miles on working odometer. Interior that of a good daily driver. Has a new headliner. I have put together most all the parts to restore this car as far as I know excluding body materials and paint etc. I have replaced some of the chrome and stainless with better and new. I also have most of the stainless clips, mostly new. I am selling this car as I have too many projects and I have another classic car. You are welcome to come and inspect car by appointment only.
