*** Re-Listing this due to a non-paying buyer. They made an offer. I accepted. then 4 days later they e-mailed saying they bought another car. Selling my 1996 Camaro SS. Car has been well taken care of and maintained well. Car isn't perfect however. but will provide reliable transportation for the money. Car is all original with the exception of the optional SS exhaust (I replaced this and still have the factory SLP original) and radio. Car was flooded in July of 2013 with a water damage. These cars are very rare and go for a lot more. This is your opportunity to own a rare piece of history at a fraction of the value. Car is Black w/T-Tops with Black cloth interior. 6 Spd manual. According to SLP. this car was optioned with all SS option upgrades. torsen rear-end. bilstein shocks. exhaust. car cover. floor mats. short-throw shifter. etc. However it was missing the SS car cover and floor mats when I bought it. I did replace the factory SS floor mats and are brand new since Summer of 2014. Work done over the past two years (All AC/Delco GM parts except for Exhaust and Clutch). - New power steering pump- New water pump- New Heater Core- New A/C Compress/Condenser. etc. - New Flowmaster muffler with dual flowmaster exhaust tips. (If interested I still have the original SLP muffler and tailpipes. there was nothing wrong with the SLP muffler. I just like the sound of flow masters and wanted dual tips back)- New Plugs & Wires- New clutch (Has maybe 5k miles on it)- New clutch slave cylinder- Replaced Power seat switch. motor and rails. - New battery- New serpentine belt- Car was professionally cleaned after the water damage. All carpets areas and seats were steamed cleaned and shampooed. Carpet Padding on the underside of the carpet and seat paddings were mildew treated and cleaned as well. - I do have a used fender that I was planning on replacing the passenger fender with. but have not had the time to work on painting and replacing it. - I'm sure there is more that I can't think of right off. Car runs like a top with no issues. I drove the car regularly before it was flooded. Since the water damage. I put a few months of work into what it needed to make it a daily driver again. Every other week I drove the car over 300+ miles and had been driving the car daily since for almost a year and wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. I've also made trips as well over 300+400 one way miles this past summer with no issues. The only exception to that is for the past 3 months I have been driving my SUV so the car has been parked in my garage. I have no concerns with the drivability of the car and would keep it if I could. I am really really sad to let it go and I do not want to sell it. but money's tight and I need to move it. I have other financial responsibilities that need tending to.
