It has just been fully machined and all internals are new. Edelbrock air gap intake. Demon 750 carb. Edelbrock Aluminum heads and so much more. Make me an offer. needs very little to get back on the road by spring. UPDATED INFOHere is my best description of the Impala:It is NOT a show car. it is a 20 footer. The paint is a nice white pearl. similar to the Cadilliac color. I would rate the paint an 7-8. definitely passable for a daily driver or project car. The body of the car had rust. the repairs were not the best. There was rust in the floorpans. that was cut out and pieces were welded in. I would re-do them. You cannot see them unless you jack the car up. The quarters definitely have mud in them. I bought the car as a driver. so I was not to concerned. The car has a dent in the door that was pulled out. the paint has cracked a bit. I think we have a picture of that posted. There is a dent in the lower rear passenger quarter as well. paint cracked. not bad and you can see some of the bondo. The trunk has had something done to it. looks like they patched pieces in. then sprayed the fleck painting over it. does not look bad. but is something that will have to be replaced eventually for a clean looking car. I had to cut a small section out in the trunk when I replaced the body mounts. the nut was spinning and this is the only way. That piece could easily be welded back in to place. The frame looks solid. no cracks. did not drive crooked or anything. there is nothing I could see that would indicate any damage. all body panels line up nicely. The grill is decent. but not perfect. The chrome eyelets (or whatever they are called) that go over the headlights are rough. serviceable. but I would replace. The rear corner trim was stolen. it was the SS model and I do not have a replacement for them. The interior is a 8-9. seats are nice. no rips or tears. carpet is nice and clean. all the gauges worked. Only trim missing on the inside is the two small corner pieces by the package tray on either side of the window. My whole intent for the car was to build it as a car I would not worry about parking anywhere. Now. the good. All the front end suspension has been replaced. It has the ride tech upper and lower strong arms with muscle bar and posi-Links. The rest of the front end has been replaced with PST components. The front shocks are the shockwaves from ridetech. Front brakes are the Baer track kit. rear brakes are the big brake kit from Classic Performance. The master cylinder is from Classic Performance as well. model MCPV-1. Wheels are from Rushforth and tires are from Nitto. Finally all the body mounts have been replaced with new poly mounts. Questions people have asked:If 10 is the max/best. how would you separately rate the paint and the interior?Paint is a 6-7. nice. shiney. but not show quality. Interior 8-9. not much you have to do there. i noted above the two small pieces missing. Did you need to cut anything to install the suspension or did you cut anything in the car. frame etc. ?Only thing needing to be cut was the pockets for the front shocks. the holes had to be opened up a bit to fit the bags. Rear springs were cut to match the stance I wanted until I could purchase the rest of the ride tech kit. Is the frame straight or was the car ever involved in an accident? The frame appears straight. but I do not know if the car was involved in a major accident. It did get dinged in a parking lot. mentioned above. Would you sell the car without the engine? Yes - $12. 00Do you have more pics?More pics have been posted. How about body work. is it rust free? No. I tried to give an accurate representation above. I am interested in seeing your 65 in person. where are you located?Vancouver. Washington
