MI 48042Call Us Today(586) 781-5164Ask Us A Question Description This auction is for a "real" and correctly restored 1970 Camaro RD Z/28 with the original window sticker (not a reproduction). Starting life in Tennessee. the car was delivered to Cunningham-Kelley Chevrolet in Hartsville. Tennessee and spent the majority of the next forty-plus years there. A complete frame-off restoration was performed several years ago by a previous owner using only the best of materials. Once completed the car has accumulated only avery few miles. to make sure that everything works correctly. For the restoration the car was completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal. The sub-frame was removed and the entire drivetrain was rebuilt. The body of this vehicle still wears all the original sheet metal and the body fit is laser straight and better than new. Once the body was prepared. it was given a fresh coat of the correct Camaro Gold (code 53). with correct Black Z/28 stripes. Only the best modern Standox base coat clear-coat paint was used. The subframe was also stripped and all chassis components were replaced and refinished in the correct original factory finishes. The original LT1 - 350 engine (code CTB) and all associated parts were completely rebuilt. Everything was reassembled and the entire engine was given a coat of the correct Chevrolet engine orange paint. All the exterior emblems were replaced with either new or NOX pieces. The restoration on theis Z/28 Camaro is 100% "factory correct". right down to the T-3 headlamps and original style Goodyear F60x15 tires. This is a top notch car that is worthy og going to a good home! It will make a star addition to any car collection. It comes with the original Chevrolet window sticker and restoration photos.
