1965 Chevrolet Chevy C10 pickup

Thinning out my inventory and I have decided to let my 1965 C10 go. This is a big window. short bed. fleetside model. Ebay did not give me a 307 engine option but that is what it has. It has a small performance camshaft. headers with flowmaster exhaust. Aluminum intake with an Edlebrock carburetor. Aftermarket HEI 60. 00 volt distributor. Electric cooling fan. Rear seal was leaking so while I had the engine out to detail it and the engine compartment I put in new main & rod bearings. timing chain set and high volume/pressure oil pump about 3 years ago. You hit the key and it starts! Runs Great. sounds great! 700R4 transmission with a deep pan and Corvette servo. 3. 73 rear axle gear. Handles great! Properly lowered front and rear with Classic Performance springs. new shocks and adjustable rear trac bar. Manual steering/manual brakes. Rally rims with trim rings. Tires in like new condition. LED directional and tail lights. Speedometer needs adapter on the transmision. I just haven't done it yet. New heater core installed but not connected. Most wires under the hood have been hidden. I never got around to the last bundle. Seats and center console came out of a 2005 Silverado with the seat belts being part of them. They give you a very comfortable. safe ride. Center console is also a jump seat so there is room for 3. Windshield was installed about 5 years ago but is like new. Steering wheel is from a 1966 Caprice. Fun to drive. Gets lots of looks. Trophy winner. It will take you anywhere you want to go. We show it all over over South Carolina. It was pictured in Classic Trucks from the 2013 fall car show in Myrtle Beach. Always get lots of thumbs up!This is not a $20k+ truck and the price reflects that. It does needs some body and paint work but the truck is a good base to start. Stainless trim and chrome is like new and you know how expensive that can be to replace. Flat steel plate in the bed. Lettering on wood bed panels can be taken off so you can leave them blank or do your own advertising with them. Just like everyone else I have too many new parts installed to list. I have many parts to still install which include-gas tank to mount under the bed with sending unit-Classic Performance front and rear sway bars -lots of weatherstripping-dual master cylinder-lots of other parts I just can't remember right now-spare instrument cluster-anything extra that I have will go with the truckThis has been my baby for many years. I owned an auto repair business and have been a General Motors service manager. Everything done on this truck has been done correctly and with lots of pride. While doing the engine compartment. hiding wires. etc. my son made a comment I could have been driving the truck months ago. Not my style. lol.
