This truck is unique in the fact it is dry climate solid throughout & carries the special promotional code for the Highlander trim option. The exterior has been restored and finished in metallic green base/clearcoat. This truck was factory-ordered medium green. The interior displays the special Scottish plaid Highlander seating while the original steel wheels have been replaced with polished 17-inch American Racing torque thrust wheels. The factory-equipped 307 cube V8 starts and runs smooth. paired with the TH350 3-Speed automatic transmission. Open the doors to 1972 and Chevrolet's one-year-only Highlander interior option. The Scottish patterned plaid is the Avocado trim. in excellent condition. The glovebox decal showcases original factory ordered options. This is just a great old truck. The fiberglass tonnea cover has been restored to match the truck. This is a locking cover that raises with hydraulic support rods on its own and lowers with ease. The bed has been lined and color-keyed in green. of course. Under the hood is the stout little 307 2bbl. V8. Accessories include power steering and power front disc brakes. The engine compartment displays all original sheetmetal ; including the firewall. inner fenderwells and core support. Exhaust gases are expelled via the stock cast iron manifolds to a dual exhaust system with chromed tipped pipes out back. The undercarriage looks to be exceptionally solid. The frame is original and straight while the cab corners. inner bed and rocker panels look to be excellent as do the floorboards. Overall. this truck looks good underneath. It has been previously painted and detailed to a degree along with some undercoating. The 12-bolt differential is also in good shape. Closer inspection of the metallic green finish will confirm an exceptional finish throughout. The identification plate is in place as is the door sticker.
