I had the truck painted in Imron single stage polyurethane enamel, by a very experienced painter to my specifications, all spot welds were ground smooth, door jams completely painted, all windows, doors & door hardware, moldings, bumpers, trim, lights, fuel doors, tail gate & tailgate hardware removed during painting, bed pulled and completely painted, hood completely painted top and bottom, under paint chip guard applied on bed where original chipping was noted. The complete underside of this truck is amazingly clean I have personally serviced this truck during my ownership other than taking it in for scheduled oil changes, I have changed the differential fluid & coolant 2 times, transmission fluid & filter 3 times, front and rear brake pads/shoes, Master Cylinder, front axle shaft u-joints, king pin bushings and rear center drive shaft carrier bearing, heater core and water pump once in the 12 years I have had it. This truck is ready to drive across the country. I have mainly used this truck during the summer months going to the Cabin, a few trips towing my Jeep to the Silver Lake Sand dunes and Drummond Island accumulating around 5000 miles a year, never driven in the salt.
