1996 Chevrolet Express Van
4x4 Conversion by Advantage 4x4 in Utah. This is not "all wheel drive", this is the real deal- solid axles with leaf spring suspension front and rear. Lock out hubs, 4WD high and low.
This van spent the first 20 years of it's life in Colorado and Kansas. While I have listed and pictured rust, it is isolated to two small areas. The rest of the vehicle has no known rust issues.
Interior conversion with Flexsteel quad seating. Power drivers seat. Power bench in rear. Power windows, power door locks, Factory AM/FM/Cassette/CD system. Auxillary lighting.
BRAND NEW 31/10.5/15 Cooper AT3 tires, new front and rear shocks, new upper and lower ball joints. Alignment checked when new tires installed. Full size spare. Fresh tune up (new plugs, ceramic wires, cap, rotor).
New compressor, fresh a/c charge. New fuel pump.
Has a small spot of rust below the drivers door and another beginning on the passenger side. This was a victim of bad GM primer, so there are areas of paint peeling. The pinstriping/ /decals also have deterioration. Drivers side rear view mirror is cracked. Interior rear view mirror has the trip/temp thing, but it has a short and works sporadically. The power steering pump leaks. The ABS light comes on because the reluctors on the front axle need to be replaced- they got hot sometime with the previous owner.
The interior is clean, with some wear of material on the drivers side seat. The interior is a rose color.
The 4x4 conversion costs $11,000 by itself, plus the interior conversion and the blue book value of the 2wd version alone is over $4000.
This has a clean Carfax report & guarantee for another 5 months. The report is so clean, that Carfax states this vehicle is worth $1400 more than blue book for like models.
If you know about 4x4 vans, then you know how rare this one is. You can find a Ford pretty easy, but Chevrolet & Dodge 4x4 vans are much harder to come by.
