Selling our 1972 Chevrolet Suburban 454 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive Victory Red with barn doors. My Dad and I have owned this truck for almost 15 years and it has been a great truck. Purchased from a fresh restoration, used as a daily driver for years and for the last couple of years hasn't seen many miles. Since we have owned it, it has spent the entire time around the Dallas Fort Worth area. The paint was very nice in GM Victory Red. It has been sitting out and it has spots of rust and bodywork that I have tried to show in the pictures. Some of the clear has started to come off in some places as well. The interior had a blend of custom panels along with seats out of a 98 Tahoe I believe which need recovering. As you can see the interior needs some attention. It is a factory big block 402 but now the engine is a 454 with the Edelbrock rpm package and msd ignition. It spins easy and has a pretty good lope. Custom exhaust and headers. The transmission is a Turbo 350 with a small stall converter. Transfer case and locking hubs. We haven't had it in 4 wheel drive for a decade and it hasn't been checked. The engine and transmission have some leaks like most of this era. Later model hydro boost braking assistance has been added along with an aftermarket power steering system. The wheels were replaced a few years ago and the tires are in decent shape but have plenty of miles on them. It has a factory a/c setup but of course doesn't work. This has been a wonderful truck over the years and gets plenty of attention and thumbs up. Please make sure you look at all the photos that I have added on shutterfly. https://1972chevroletsuburban.shutterfly.com The truck is located at my parents in the Sherman/Denison, Texas area but can be brought to Plano if needed. I bought this truck on ebay and have bought/sold several vehicles with no issue. Cash is preferred as anything else will have to be deposited and cleared before the vehicle and title are released. Please message me for any questions.
