*** NO RESERVE!!! Don't bid if you don't have the funds. ***
*** You MUST inquire with your local DMV about registering this vehicle prior to placing an offer if you plan on restoring it. Alabama law does not require titles for vehicles 35+ years old. Therefore, this vehicle will only come with a legal Bill of Sale. You MUST check with your DMV prior to placing a bid. ***
1972 Chevrolet El Camino Custom. Originally Mohave Gold w/black interior. Motor and transmission are missing. Originally it was a 350ci V8 2BBL Automatic car w/power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. Rare fully loaded Elco in a cool rare color. It would make a great SS clone.
The car will need some rust repair in the bed and a new drivers side rear quarter panel. It will also need two long floor pans. The rest of the car is pretty straight.
There is no rust in the cowl or the frame. The rockers don't appear to be too bad either. The tailgate works fine. The outer skin just needs to be popped out.
The seat is missing. The bumpers are there. Front bumper is pretty straight. Rear bumper has a slight bend in it. I think it can be straightened.
Parts for this car can be found just about anywhere on the internet, Original Parts Group, Year One, etc.
I have included a pic of a 72 El Camino SS in Mohave Gold to show what this car COULD be when restored.
Let me know if you have any questions.
