California Hot Rod ’61 Chevrolet Apache c-10 Custom Truck.
106,000 Original miles. Bought from an old local 5 years ago. A True Survivor in Very! Rare Condition. Started as a White truck and was painted Copper color over 35 years ago. Has always been nice and never used as a work truck. Just driven local. Valve Covers say 350 but is a 327. No fluid leaks. Bumper to bumper engine was rebuilt at 86,000 miles. No smoke, overheat or noise. Runs and Drives great. Transmission works great and shifts great, but doesn’t hold in park on hill but parking brake works well. Has not been registered since 2005, but is in Non-Op with No Back Fees. Body is in Amazing condition, has some minor rust on bottom of front fenders from debris buildup between fender and brace and very minor in cab corners as viewed. nothing has been covered up & no paint work in over 35 years. Bed has original wood and needs new boards. Surface rust viewed in bed, no holes or deep pitting. Rare automatic transmission, power steering, power hydro-vac brakes & factory turn signals. Also, one of only two years of torsion bar front springs. Can adjust the height by just turning 2 bolts.
Did some recent things to it, rebuilt carburetor, replaced alternator, master cylinder, tuned up, points and plugs. Still needs turn signal switch, fuel sending unit, rear window has a crack (can view in pics).
Very Rare Condition for its age. A True Survivor. Hate to sell but need the money.
