Suspension-Full ZQ8 suspension added-New Bilstein shocks on rear and very low mileage Decarbon shocks on front-Caltrac bars-richmond 3:42 gears, new GM posi unit for 93-97 camaro/firebird
Wheels and Tires-Replica 96 Corvette Grandsport wheels polished-17x9.5 on the front with 275/40/17 Nitto 555 tires-17x11 on the rear with 315/35/17 Good years(******Brand new never mounted 315/35/17 mickey thompson drag radials included paid over $500*********)
Engine-2007 LQ9 6.0 with 70k on it when installed-799 heads (compression 10.9:1)-LS6 intake (new gm production manifold complete top to bottom)-LS2 timing chain-Thunder Racing TR224 cam-Comp Push rods-Comp Valve springs good to 600 lift-GM muscle car oil pan-Retained Air conditioning-New GM water pump for LY6-Polished valve covers-D585 truck coils (hottest stock coil)-MSD plug wires-NGK TR55 Spark plugs-BRP headers-3 inch dual exhaust-Original wiring harness and PCM from S10 was Modified to operate the LS conversion (over 15 hours spent just on adding in correct pins and looming)-Magnaflow dual in dual out internal X pipe muffler-Dyno tuned for modifications @ PCMforless by Bryan HerterRear wheel horsepower was 390 and rear wheel torque was 402 @ an extremely conservative 6000 rpm. This can be improved upon by just uping the shift points.
Transmission-4L80E with 100k on it at time of installation- Transgo shift kit-Circle D billet 245mm 3200 stall convertor-B&M plate transmission cooler
I built this truck with intentions of daily driving it...... but as it turned out the first car show I took it too a good friend of mine offered a trade that I couldn't refuse. This truck is no longer mine but he asked me to list it for him because he knew I could answer any and all questions regarding the truck. This truck drives VERY well and is a quick little street truck. You will have a good time every time you get in it!!!!!!!!!
There is only one issue with the truck currently. If the Air Conditioning is used idling on a hot day the Radiator doesn't keep up and it will try to over heat. On the high way with plenty of air flow it isn't an issue but you have to shut off the AC a little before you leave the high way in order for it to cool it enough before stopping or driving under 45mph. The current owner took ownership of the truck before I was able to remedy the issue. I'm sure with an extra pusher fan added it would take care of it. Or a vented/cowl hood to let out the heat. ***. ***
I live in Belpre Ohio and the Current owner lives in Pettyville WV this is about 15 minutes apart so when the winning bidder comes to collect the truck and pay the owner you will be meeting the current owner for the transaction.
