Offering at no reserve is a 1955 chevy cabover or COE. The Vin tag on the left windshield post Rears U255K is all. If this is not correct let me know and I will post the numbers if you tell me where to find them. This is why I did not apply for title yet as it did not seem to be long enough. Cab should fit several years but grilles and such differ. This is the late 1955 series. Make a cool car hauler or pickup. Has been in a farmers shed for a long time. so weather has not affected it much. The rodents did move in though so had a lot of pack rat and mouse debris and droppings. After cleaning out somewhat the floors appear to be decent except on the drivers side where the dimmer switch would be. Seat frame is good but upholstery is bad. Still has the keys in the ignition. Glass is useable except left wing window cracked and a BB shot in the windshield plus typical pitting. Doors appear to be o.k. except where discolored down low from rodent nests discoloring them. Step plates are solid again with discoloration especially on drivers side. Outsides of doors appear to be o.k. as does the bottoms with right lower door just showing some small blisters. May be the paint but not sure. Cab corners are starting to blister apparently from mouse nests and urine. Few dings here and there except the hood was good until the farmer pulled it out of the shed with a backhoe and it rolled forward into the rear bucket denting it. Has 900x20 tires and all hold air. Farmer stated it was still the original 265 V/8 engine and it does turn over. Has four speed with two speed axle. Currently DOES NOT have a title but I can guarantee one if buyer wants one. The title would cost $150.00 above selling price. If title needed the truck would have to stay here for two weeks so the state patrol can inspect it. Truck can stay here free for up to six months then storage would begin to be charged. This truck is all original but needs restoration of all components and selling AS IS Where is.
