Serial Numbers Match
Body completely disassembled. All chrome, bumpers and related, windshield, windows, interior, instruments and most anything which would come off was removed.
Media stripped by Blast-tech in Parker, Colorado.
Ron Clark of Clark Brothers Corvette in Parker, Colorado: Finished removing old paint, ground out and refilled all body seams, ground out and filled all stress cracks, repaired any damaged areas and painted through final primer.
Jim Beaudette of Beaudette Customs in Holdrege, Nebraska painted exterior, interior and trunk 1990 Corvette Teal Green Metallic Clear coat. Painted Center column, kick panels, instrument panels, steering column and other interior pieces gloss Black Lacquer. Installed new body weather stripping with correct adhesive.
Windshield installed with new weather seal and body seal.
Side windows installed with new seals, bumpers, stops and outer chrome.
New door hinge pins, bushings and painted covers installed.
New arm rests and bases installed.
Tin plates attached to back of interior attachment screw holes.
New dash pad installed with new grab bar.
New correct “salt and pepper” black carpet and pad installed.
New correct seat belts installed.
New windshield visors installed.
New heater core and seals installed.
New, complete wiring harness w/fuse block from ‘Lectric Limited in St. Louis,
Missouri installed
Instrument gauges rebuilt (Temperature Gauge matched to new sender) and clock
rebuilt with Quartz movement by Instrument Services in Roscoe, Illinois
Steering column and sector rebuild with new worm gear and shaft, sector gear,
bearings and seals.
Custom Autosound AM-FM-Cassette radio and speaker installed with correct
knobs modified to fit.
New radio antenna and cable installed.
New fuel tank hoses and grommets installed.
Master brake cylinder rebuilt with a stainless steel sleeve by White Post
Restorations in White Post, Virginia. New wheel slave cylinders installed.
New firewall and body grommets installed.
New door, trunk, glove box and ignition locks installed.
New door sill plates and fillers installed.
New clutch and brake bushings, stops, seals and springs installed.
Windshield wiper motor, washer, vacuum can and switch rebuilt by Capital Auto

Starter, Generator and Regulator rebuilt to correct specifications by John Pirkle in
Augusta Georgia. Heavy-duty coils installed to increase Starter torque.
New correct front license plate bumperette assembly installed.
New rocker panel mouldings and clips installed.
New body and engine decals and labels installed.
New taillight lens, cork gaskets and wicks installed.
New “correct” spare tire board, cup and bolt installed.
New trunk mat and front panel installed.
Poly tar-top battery correct for 1962, Delco, with Gel-cell
This car originally had a non-posi-traction third member. It has been replaced with posi-traction unit. Unit was rebuilt with new clutch packs, bearings, seal and ring gear and pinion. A heavy-duty drive shaft yoke was also installed. Solid Journal u-joint crosses from Dicks Driveshaft in Phoenix, Arizona installed. Drive axles had new bearings and seals installed and longer lug bolts installed to accommodate the aluminum wheel rims. New leaf springs, u-bolts, shackles, bushings, pins, brake pads and shocks installed. Original matching serial number third member is in storage and goes with car.
Front suspension rebuilt. New king pins, bushings and seals installed. New upper and lower, inner and outer a-frame shafts and bushings installed. New tie rod ends installed and 3rd arm rebuilt. New brake pads and longer lug nuts installed. New shocks.
Original Borg-Warner T-10 transmission had a coarse spline main shaft that was prone to shearing off. New main shafts are not available. Corvette T-10’s are 2 inches shorter than a standard T-10. A special production T-10 for Corvette’s with a fine spline main shaft was found, rebuilt and installed. Original matching serial number T-10 is in storage and goes with car. New transmission mount and shifter bushings installed. Installed an Aluminum Bell Housing for 340 HP, Cast Iron Bell Housing in storage and included in sale.
Complete engine rebuild and upgrade accomplished. Machine work was done by Ken Wells in McCook, Nebraska. Component balancing was done by Doug Canning in Ogallala, Nebraska including harmonic balancer, flywheel and clutch pressure plate in addition to standard rotational components. Engine work and assembly was done by Larry Wells of Wells Speed Equipment in Weatherford, Texas. Crower high strength piston rods with tool steel piston pins were installed using Vandervell main and rod bearings. ARP main studs were used with a windage tray. Diamond Racing, custom built forged duplicate of original 340 HP 11.5 to 1 compression ratio domed pistons, Thermal coated and friction coated. Installed with Sealed Power rings. Pioneer brass soft plugs and allen socket front plugs installed. A special grind Crower hydraulic camshaft with an advertised specification of 306 degrees duration and .485 inches of lift was used. Cloyes twin true twin roller cam drive was used with Cloyes roller thrust washer and roller thrust button. Crower hydraulic roller lifters were used with Crower push rods. The heads were machined to have correct fit with the intake manifold. Some porting and polishing was done. Manley valves were used with Pioneer valve seals. Crower double spring with damper valve springs were used with chrome moly retainers and keepers. Manley screw-in rocker arm studs with guide plates were used. Crower roller rocker arms were installed. Heads installed using Fel-pro head gaskets and ARP head bolts. A Moroso Oil pump and baffle was blueprinted and installed using Melling suction tube and pump drive. Oil pan was installed with a one-piece gasket. Ignition distributor had a new shaft, gear and bushings installed, was re-curved to engine specs and powered by a MSD high-output coil. New “correct” ignition wires installed. New ignition shielding installed. Intake manifold was coated with a protective clear coat and installed with Fel-Pro gaskets. A correct 4269S carburetor was overhauled by Bob Kunz Automotive in St. Louis, Missouri was installed. New “correct” air cleaner installed. New accessory drive and driven pulleys installed. New 7-blade fan, fan clutch and belts installed. New front engine mount cross brace and rubber mounts installed. New Griffin aluminum radiator installed with “correct” hoses. A Hayes “shatter-resistant” flywheel and heavy-duty diaphragm pressure plate and disc were installed.
