The gentleman restoring this car passed away shortly after it returned from the paint shop. He owned this Freemont California built Chevelle for approximately 30 years. This frame on restoration has a beautiful "Bright Red" code 82 paint job.I would give this a 9 out of 10 for thepaint job. As you can see by the body tag, the original color was Yellow with a Black Vinyl Top and black bucket seats. It was built in the 1st week of July of 1967. The floors of this Chevelle are original and rust free. The car was purchased from the widow 3 years later in pieces (April 2016). Over the next 4 months the original engine and transmission were installed, interior was installed with new carpeting, and door panels. The Seats are in great condition and mayhavehad new coversthem on them by the previous owner. An American Auto wire classic update harness was installed. The car was on the road in August 2016. The A/C System has been professional charged is operating great with R12. The trim for a vinyl top has been installed but we decided to let the next owner decide if they want to install a vinyl top.
The car is for sale locally and I will end the auction if sold. I am the secretary of the Northern Ohio Chevelle Club and a Mechanical Engineer by trade. You can be assured that this Chevelle was put together correctly utilizing the my own skills and fellow Chevelle enthusiast in the club.
