1941-1946 is known as the “Art Deco Pickups”, because of the beautiful styling– often known as the “Wurlitzer” models.
That’s because the front grille looked a lot like a Wurlitzer jukebox hanging on the front of the truck.
For sale is this beautiful 1946 Chevrolet Pick Up Truck. A rare collector quality vehicle from the art deco period post WWII. This truck is completely original with the original 216.5 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed manual transmission. This truck also has the original 6 volt electrical system. The oak bed is perfect with a custom built storage box. The interior is mint, like new and the dash and interior roof look unbelievable. The underside is clean and rust free with the spare tire mounted as well. This truck runs and drives perfectly, and it’s a blast to drive. The truck is complete with everything in perfect working order. The truck underwent a complete frame off restoration in the late 80’s and it looks like the restoration was just completed. Paint is beautiful and shines brilliantly. This truck has won numerous shows and people go crazy over it when they see it. The only flaw is a slight crack in the edge of the drivers side rear wheel opening as depicted in the photos.
