Going into its 4th year of production, the ZO6 was quickly becoming an icon of the sports car world.

There were a few changes to the '09 which included a larger capacity dry sump oiling system (up from 8 quarts to 10.5) and new Spider-design wheels and a power rear hatch pull-down. Other changes included steering wheel audio controls, Bosch ABS, Traction Control and Active Handling were also new in '09.
