THE ALL ORIGINAL RUST FREE SHEET METAL IS VERY STRAIGHT. ALL GAPS ARE VERY NICE. AND DOORS. TRUNK. AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE VERY NICE AS THEY SHOULD. THERE ARE NO AFTERMARKET PARTS. AND THE ORIGINAL CHROME AND TRIM IS STILL VERY NICE. THE GRILLE IS VERY STRAIGHT. AND ALL LIGHTS WORK LIKE THEY DID NEW. THE INTERIOR IS VERY NICE AND SHOWS AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN IT DID IN 1957. THE 283 WITH FACTORY DUAL QUADS STARTS AND RUNS PERFECTLY. WITH NO TICKS. KNOCKS. SMOOTH AND QUIET AS IT SHOULD. THE SHIFTING AND CLUTCH WORK VERY NICE AND THE CAR DRIVES DOWN THE ROAD LIKE A NEW CAR. NO CLUNKS. NO RATTLES. HOLDS THE ROAD GREAT. THE FACTORY 4 WHEEL DRUM BRAKES WORK AS THEY SHOULD. THE MASTER CYLINDER HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO A NEWER STYLE DUAL RESERVOIR. THE GLASS IS ALL VERY NICE. AND ALL WINDOWS ROLL UP AND DOWN PERFECTLY. THE INTERIOR STAINLESS AND ALL INTERIOR TRIM IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE INTERIOR EVEN SMELLS NEW. IT IS SPOTLESS INSIDE. THE INTERIOR TRIM PANELS. HEADLINER. AND CARPET. ALL LOOK ORIGINAL. ND ARE NEAR PERFECT CONDITION. FRONT AND REAR SEAT ARE ORIGINALS. BUT APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN RECOVERED. BUT VERY NICE. AND FRONT SEAT MOVES FRONT TO BACK AS IT SHOULD PERFECTLY. THIS CAR IS VERY SOLID AND APPEARS VERY RUST FREE!! THE TRUNK AREA IS VERY ORIGINAL. RUSTFREE AND CLEAN. I THINK THE SPARE TIRE IS ORIGINAL. AND LOOKS NEW. THIS WAS ORIGINALLY A WESTERN CAR. AND APPEARS TO HAVE NEVER SEEN SALT AND NOT DRIVEN IN THE RAIN MUCH. THE CLUTCH HAS BEEN RECENTLY REPLACED AND IS ADJUSTED PERFECT AND SHIFTS FLAWLESSLY. THE ENGINE APPEARS TO BE A VERY RARE COMBINATION IN THIS BODY STYLE. IT IS VERY POSSIBLE THE ENGINE COMBINATION IS ORIGINAL TO THIS CAR. BUT THROUGH MANY CONVERSATIONS WITH CORVETTE EXPERTS.
