1966 Chevrolet C-10 Fleetside Short Wheelbase Big Window Pickup

1966 Chevy Short Wheel Base Big Window Fleetside pickup from California. Spent most of it's life in the Sacramento area and it shows. Truck was restored around 2000 with the addition of a 350 small block Chevy and Muncie 4 speed with Hurst shifter. The rare factory AC was rebuilt at this time to run on modern R134A coolant (see rebuilder label). New windshield with seal. new upholstery. new carpet. and painted red. New gas tank. Very presentable appearance. shiny paint on the sides. but faded and water spotted upper surfaces. Since I have owned the truck: Professionally installed McGaughy's front disc brake conversion kit with new spindles. rotors. etc. New lower ball joints. Rebuilt rear axle with 3:08 posi. New repro stainless steel side trim. bumpers. grille. New radial tires. tail light harness. front turn signal harness. stainless tailgate latches. sill plates. Have all receipts. I do not know the history of the motor but it runs strong. quiet. does not burn oil. has headers. Clutch and 4 speed operate smoothly. Brakes are fantastic. AC is cool but not super cold (due for recharge?). Fun driver. Shows 113. 915 miles but actual mileage unknown. Body is super solid . Perfect floors. floor braces. cab corners. Outer rockers. back of rockers. bottom of rockers perfect. Some small rust holes on top of rockers near weather stripping (about 2 square inch area on each side. see photo). Both front fenders have lower rust - if reserve is met. buyer gets 2 new LMC repro front fenders. New stainless side trim with white coves. I welded up non-factory mirror holes on doors (red primer splotches) and sealed inside of doors with POR 15. Floors / braces had original? undercoating that I powerwashed and painted black. All lights. wipers work. Horn does not work (was recently working). Has a working aftermarket radio (works) but door speakers not hooked up. Needs: You might want to add power steering (easy conversion). Parking brake cables stretched and barely hold truck. Dual exhaust ends at Flow Master mufflers (sounds cool but a bit loud). Bed has plywood painted black- original braces present underneath but original planking gone. There is a spare but no jack. Good driver that gets lots of attention. No warranty and sold as is.
