2000 Monte Carlo SS *NO RESERVE*Runs and drives well. Engine just replaced. replacement engine has just over 100K miles and runs great. strong oil pressure. temp right in line. smooth and good powerNew lower intake gaskets. New plenum gasket. Complete tune-up (Plugs & Wires)New power steering pump. New batteryRe-Manufactured BCM (reprogrammed / flashed for this car)Customer had car towed into our shop with a bad engine. We did all of the work and the customer decided he no longer wanted the car. so we are selling it with a clear title to recoup the cost of repairs. This will make a nice car for someone. Car is loaded with options. moon roof. overhead data display. power seats. etc. Car has been sitting for about 6 months. and recently drove the car for several days locally to make sure it was running good. The car ran and drove nicely. Here is what we noticed: power steering is sticky-not sure if it is a bad rebuilt pump or something in the rack. rotors had some minor rust on them. but are fairly new along with the pads. transmission shifted nicely through all gears. good and firm. handled well at 65 mph. stopped fine. engine maintained normal temp. . heat worked as it should. cruise control worked as it should. front bumper cover is cracked (shown in pictures). fuel gauge was sometimes erratic. but the rest of the gauges work as they should. The service engine soon light is on. when we last scanned it it was something in the EVAP circuit. could be a bad gas cap or possible evap solenoid (about 50-70 bucks). We also had an issue with the car not wanting to start due to the passlock system. we cleaned up and inspected the major connection points to the ECM and engine and it seems fine now. Remember. this car is being sold as-is and where is. I have done my best to describe everything and I have video of the car running today. The passlock issue may be fixed or it may need additional attention. you are buying the car as it sits and described to the best of my ability. We have a tremendous amount of time and money into this car. we just want to get some of what we have into it back. The car comes with some extra parts like injectors. coils. etc. anything we could remove from the old engine that might be useful in the future. It also comes with two almost new replacement tires not on rims. The tires on the car are good. these are just a bonus. This is an absolute sale. vehicle is being sold as-is and where-is with no warranty. We do not know much about the car past what is stated above. but feel free to ask questions before bidding. All sales are final. no refunds or exchanges. This car is being re-listed due to a non-paying bidder. We have filed a complaint with Ebay and left negative feedback. please do not waste my time. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end. and vehicle must be picked up within 7 days.
