For auction 1997 Chevy K1500 Z-71 3 door extended cab 4X4 pickup with Meyers 7 1/2` snowplow. 5. 7L 350 4 bolt motor. AT. AC. nbsp;PS. PB. ABS. PW. PDL. Power mirrors. Cruise Control. nbsp;CD with Cassette player radio. Truck has a GM factory alarm on it along with a GM bed liner and a aluminum toolbox. One family owned for the last 15 years. freshly rebuilt trans. 23K on rebuilt motor. Truck starts up and runs good. PA inspection is good till the end of June 2015 Tires are about 1/2 tread. all four wheels had new brake pads/shoes installed last fall. with new wheel cylinders on the rear. Gas tank sending unit/pump along with ball joints and the steering box arm were also replaced last summer. Trailer hitch was replaced also last summer with a new class III one. New grill and lights were installed about 2 years ago. Snowplow was installed on the truck about 8-10 years ago. Blade was repainted last fall. I use the truck for my small landscaping business. either pulling trailers or plowing snow. Truck has a trailer electric brake adjustor under the dash. The following are things that could be fixed on the truck so here is the list. (nothing worst then buying something on here and having the selling not telling you everything up front). What`s wrong with the truck Running wise: AC gas leaks out. looks to be right at the pump with the green die trail. When working the AC puts out cold air. Truck had new lines. new condenser and a rebuilt pump installed 3 years ago. Power Steering leaks. looks like the pump is leaking in the back at the lines. Intake manifold leaks oil down the back of the engine. Roughly leaks a quart of oil every 1500-2000 miles. PDL buttons don`t work on the doors but. the locks work perfect with the remotes. Back up lights sometime they works. sometimes they don`t. Inside there are no rips or tears in the seats but. they could use a good cleaning along with the carpets. Body wise: As you can see in the pics the left side cab and bed side have dents on them. I just did last week when we had 10 inches of snow here. All the damage is from a 2 inch stop sign post believe it or not. Coming down a hill on the back roads here I found a tri axle dump truck coming the other way. both of us sliding at each other. It was a case of either hitting the sign or head on into the tri axle. At least the dent is at the same place with the only rust hole on the truck so it could all be fixed at one time. Note patch panel in pics. There is also one small dent on the 3rd door at the trim level and another small dent under the left rear tail light. Right above the windshield there is surface rust. Plastic cowl by the wiper arms has a hole in it. along with a couple of small dents in the hood due to a tree branch breaking off during hurricane Sandy. Back bumper has both rust and a dent/hole in it. Not sure if the car fax will have it listed but. the truck was in two wrecks about 10-12 years ago. First one I hit a deer. which took out the grill. lights. and the left fender. Second one the truck was T-bone by a guy running a red light. Frame was not damaged but. both right side doors and bedside were replaced with new GM panels. The up shot of having these wrecks is all the new panel are still rust free. Bidders are welcomed to come see the truck in person with 24 hours notice. Terms: Truck is being sold in AS-IS condition. $250 non refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of winning the truck with the balance being paid at the time of pick up in either cash. bank check. Truck is to be paid for within 10 days after the auction. Also note: Whatever the winning bid is at the end. that price is non negotiable at the time of pickup. On Mar-14-15 at 10:24:07 PDT. seller added the following information:Forgot to put in the description above. the snowplow is a Meyers EZ classic style. I believe Meyer`s part number 17089. For the summer months after taking off the snowplow blade. the pump and light frame can be taken off the truck in a couple of minutes. Just a matter of unpluging the pump/light wires and taking two pins out of the frame. Only part that is bolt to the truck farme is the very lowest part.
