1993 Chevy Silverado Truck 1500 C1500 Indy 500 Pace Truck Short Bed

1993 Chevy Silverado 1500 Indianapolis 500 "Official Pace Truck. " Pretty rare truck. Only 1. 34 produced. 239. 89 miles. Engine / Trans: New Create Motor replaced original 350 motor. New Motor has approximately 92. 66 miles and Jasper remanufactured 4l60E Auto / Overdrive transmission. Engine runs extremely well. It does not smoke or leak oil. Engine has had a tune up. and exhaust system has been replaced. Truck really has a lot of power and starts and runs beautifully… Body: Body is solid; paint is original except for roof and hood. Paint faded. so we painted them. We weren’t able at the time to replace stripes on the hood. Honestly. the paint looks better in the pictures than it does in person. but not bad. The truck would look much better buffed out. but due to the amount of light scratches. There is no rust on the truck besides the pictures I took which reflect surface rust only. Truck has never been in a major accident. Truck was bumped on passenger side quarter panel. Suspension: Brakes work perfect. steering and front end is tight. and truck does not pull left or right. Truck is all original. interior is in good shape with very comfortable 60/40 bench seat. I’ve replaced the shocks. Some pieces on dash are a little loose. but everything is there and works. It does need some TLC. There are dings and light scratches… Windshield and back glass is new. Passenger side lower panel has a small hole in it. but not big. (See Pictures) There is some paint that needs to be buffed on the hood. that the clear coat is cracking… A/C / Heat work great. I just installed a new compressor. condenser. new AC lines. dryer. and charged the systems with 134a. My wife's father purchased this truck from the original owner. Then he gave this truck to my wife. When we got together. I then put the truck in my name. So the truck does seem to have many owners. but the truck has been in our family since it was purchased from the original owner. Just thought it would be interesting to know. The trucks miles are mostly highway miles as my wife lived in California and everything that she did was driving from the bay area to Santa Rosa or Sacramento CA. This truck wasn't driven by teenagers or abused. )
