1948 chevy fleetmaster pickup 49 50 51 52 53 54 55 barn find hot rod rat rod

up for auction is a 1948 chevy fleetmaster short bed 3100 pickup 3 window i recently purchased this truck from a lady who drove it daily in the summer months. the truck looks nice but is not perfect it looks good from 10 feet. up close it does have a few scratches and chips but is very presentable to cruise and drive. if i don't sell that is what i will do is drive it to the local cruise ins and enjoy it. truck is very solid paint shines nice. i was told when i bought it that motor had been rebuilt with small cam added sound nice trans was recently rebuilt said out of mid 70s camaro. rear end is 10 bolt looks like camaro rear end but not sure. trans looks like 350 and motor is small block chevy not sure maybe 305. has front power disc brake conversion. bolt pattern is small chevy 5 lug. still has original frame not sub-framed. has new rear shocks. gas tank has been put under bed and filler in the outside of bed shown in pics. has a exhaust leak around the right hand doughnut gasket. truck runs drives and stops as it should. has new steering box which makes it drive easier is manual but the type it is makes it easy to steer. new stereo that is made for one of these trucks new tires has new wood in bed looks to be a cedar with new strips electric wiper conversion that needs adjusting drivers door glass is cracked but the rest look as if they are new drivers door latch could use adjusting and the drivers window crank is missing no heater or ac speedometer works oil pressure works gas gauge works horn works lights work and turn signals even work these are getting harder to find in this good of shape and if it don't sell i will enjoy it for myself wouldn't hurt my feelings at all to drive i am selling this truck as is with no warranty neither written or implied and will not put a guarantee on it in any way feel free to come and look at it before bidding or ask any questions i will not trade i reserve the right to end this auction early due to local sale PAYMENT IS CASH IN HAND IN PERSON UPON PICKUP OF TRUCK AND IS DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE BID TO WIN AND GOOD LUCK.
