Description

Thanks for looking at my '56 Handyman wagon. It has the fold down rear seat without roll down rear windows. It has all the makings of a rat rod. but I wanted to restomod it. I picked it up in Colorado after I finished my last project. Life happened and three moves later it is time to move on to something else. The body is almost devoid of paint and covered in surface rust. It sands off if you want it off. Three of the floor boards need replaced. the rockers need the same. A couple of the body supports need replaced too. The left rear 1/4 needs replaced. the right one could be saved with some dogleg metal. Doors are not bad. firewall is good. It comes with a NOS LF fender. The right one needs a cap. The hood is good. Rear hatch and tailgate are also salvageable. The rear wheel wells were cut out for tubbing but the original metal is there and is tacked into place. The wagon body has been spliced onto a different firewall. Everything lines up around the doors and windshield. When you replace the rockers and floorboards you'll finish the splicing. I had my body man look at it before I bought it and he blessed the work. It's sitting on 4 Wheel Vintiques chrome rallye wheels with '55 210 center caps and a couple of good tires on them. Also included is front and rear sway bars. some re-chromed parts left over from my last build and an Ecklers front disc brake conversion kit. Also included is a pair of custom bucket seat frames and the foam for them. There's a bunch of other parts and emblems I'm including too. Most of this was left over from the previous build and has value for this build or to sell at the swap meet. I'm including a 350 crate motor with about 2. 00 miles on it in the reserve. It's stored in the garage and will have to be trailered away. I can help a car hauler get it loaded for you. Please ask questions if you have them. I took a bunch of pics and have more if you want to see them. The car has a Colorado title. $500 deposit due within 12 hours of the end of the auction. I have it listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction early.
