1948 CHEVY CLUB COUPE. As close as you can come to a true survivor. Great running. shifting and stopping car. Body is almost rust free. Interior is really nice with especially nice headliner. The only area of concern is the sun rot on top of back seat. In addition is a supplied NOS set of fiber plaid seat covers that make a stunning period statement (not installed). The dash is really great. The woodgrain is in decent shape and gauges look sharp. Period radio is missing knobs. Exterior of car is free of dents and only shows surface rust. Stainless trim is good as is grille (needs a bit of rust cleaned up). Bumpers need rechrome. Exhaust is split manifold duals which produce the sweetest sound. Electrical system is still 6 volt but. if desired. can be converted to 12 volt easily. Wheels are 15" 6 lug with wide tires (gives car a more modern stance) but can readily be replaced with standard 16" narrow tires. Some cracked glass which is easily acquired on ebay. Needs paint. better bumpers and some TLC and you will have a very driveable showstopper. I am selling this for a friend. but I have experience restoring a '41. so ask what you need and I'll do my best to give you a straight-up answer. This sale is of course as is-where is. All descriptions are opinions and no guarantees are offered. A car like this rarely comes along. Don't let it slip by.
