1969 Chevelle Malibu convertible ready for any show or pleasure drive. a high #2 car. winner at 2014 World of Wheels. We are avid Chevelle enthusiasts and have owned and restored a number of Chevelles over the years (and still own 2 more). so we are very familiar with Chevelles. Car has been completely restored with attention to detail and correctness. Compare this car to others for sale and see the difference! Please note that this is a small block Malibu with many factory SS options. It is not an SS clone and does not pretend to be an SS! It is a Malibu with options which you could order in 1969 from the factory. including the SS power bulge hood. power disc brakes. SS wheels and SS stripe. Be aware that 1968 was the last year you could prove a Chevelle was an SS by the VIN. so many of the 69 and 70 “SS Chevelles on the market could be “clones. ” Unless you have a matching number big block motor. a build sheet or a protecto plate (or it is documented one owner) you could be paying SS prices for a clone. The motor is a fresh. rebuilt 350-300 hp. while not original to the car. according to the numbers was only manufactured in 69 and 70 for Chevelles. It has lots of power and will hold its own with a stock big block. Car is fully restored using correct parts. paint. decals. etc. (we did add chrome bow tie valve covers and air cleaner for more style). and is clean. straight. everything works. etc. For example. black interior has no speaker holes in door or kick panels; trunk is painted with correct aqua/black spatter paint.
