Up for sale here is a 1959 Chevrolet 3200 long bed pickup truck project with a very complete unstuck 235 and a 4 speed on the floor. The truck also has a muncie PTO and a Mico brake lock for use on the farm. The trucks original owner was the University of Nebraska as printed in the original service booklet that matches the 1978 Nebraska title. current KS title. frame and cab vin on the truck. I also have the original keys for the truck. The truck is missing very little mainly the drivers door panel and drivers bed step. The windshield is missing a good chunk of the drivers side and the drivers door glass is cracked. There are some farm mods done to the truck over the years like the oversized rear view mirror. the ford am radio mounted under the dash. the late 20s to early 30s headlight mounted to the drivers rear as a reverse or work light. multiple holes drilled in bedsides and tailgate and the worst the drivers bed step was removed and thrown out and the bed side was cut and folded up to run something off of the PTO I would imagine. The dash of the truck is very complete missing only the cigarette lighter and the glove box latch is broken. I have the original headliner that could be put back up if you're wanting to run the truck as is but its come down over time due to moisture under it. The truck has the common rust in the lower front fenders. cab steps and cab corners. There is also rust through the roof and the lip above the windshield. The kick panels. cowl and floor panels are all quite solid. The passenger side and shifter hump on the floor still have most of the original black paint on them. The drivers side is not as nice due to the broken windshield. The hood is nice but has 2 small holes drill above the emblem. The grill has a couple slight bends in it but still quite nice. The front bumper is nice and straight. There's no rust above the headlights in the fenders and the truck still has 3 of 4 T3 headlights but one is cracked. The doors are solid in the bottoms but the drivers side does have a skim of filler on the outer skin. The drivers door is more difficult to shut than it should be and does hang up on the fender slightly at times. There rear fenders are solid but do have some dents and tears in them from years of use. The bed is also very solid but has some dents and multiple holes drilled in panels for different accessories over the years. The bed wood is all but gone and the metal strips are in poor condition. The truck has the standard farm equipment wrap around rear bumper that is very well built. The 235 engine is very complete and turns over by hand and has dark oil in it. The generator will the long bolt that mounts it to the lower bracket as it was missing when I got the truck. The transmission shifts through the gears like it should. The truck will have tires that hold air for transport and will roll and steer but doesn't stop. The truck has a clear current KS title in my name that matches the frame and cab vin.
