1953 Chevrolet Bel Air Base Sedan 4-Door 3.8L

Front disc brake conversion installed and working flawlessly. nbsp; Ratty interior removed and sprayed flat black. original 6 volt system. new radiator. rebuilt starter. front floors patched. new gas tank comes with original fender skirts. visor. headliner bows. wheels/tires. hubs and drums. Body needs some repairs. Three on the tree old school cool. nbsp; has a real nice rumble from the straight pipe and resonator. previous owner was messing with converting the wipers from vacuum to electric. failed. Comes with components to reinstall vacuum system. Previous owner also sprayed black paint over exterior but not very well. Needs front tires because the ball joints were out of adjustment and ate the tires up. fixed it. This was my daily driver when I lived in town and made a few trips for ice cream (four messy kids. hence the stripped interior) I would love to keep this car but we are moving out of state and I have to much stuff like this to move. breaks my heart. but has to go. Originally a southern car. brought to Ohio in the 70's went through a few Ohio winters and then stored for 35 years. Forgot to mention a few cracks in the glass. the trunk lock is missing or in the box with the wiper stuff. extra front fender. The trim pieces missing from the pictures do come with the car . new front shock in the box not installed. Pick up only. payment at time of pick up if paying in cash.
