This is a great vehicle that has no known mechanical issues. I always maintain my vehicles well. For those not familiar with the Tracker. this is a genuine off-road vehicle (although I’ve never driven it off-road) with a ladder frame and a transfer case gearbox (as opposed to Escapes. RAVs and CRVs). The vehicle is equipped with the usual standard features: power windows. remote entry. cruise. etc. The good: My wife and I live overseas for half of the year. meaning that the vehicle has relatively low mileage. Further. we’re usually gone during the winter months so the engine has seldom been started in cold temperatures. Being a West Texas car it has never seen road salt; it's rust-free. The car has had zero mechanical issues—zippo. nada! Brakes are new. The bad: Because it’s a West Texas car. it’s seen hail. There are some little hail marks on the hood and a very very slight dent. Nothing bad and it’s not noticeable unless you look for it. The West Texas sun has somewhat faded the black molding. The paint itself is in fine shape except for a couple of rock chips. One final thing—there is a bit of a squeak when the door is closed hard or when you hit a bump. Mechanically the vehicle is perfect. cosmetically it’s not bad. I am the second owner.
