I have for auction a 1962 pro street pro touring pickup truck. I purchased this truck out of a local estate a few months ago I don't know everything about it but I'll tell you what I do know. Truck has a mildly built 454. Motor has a scat crank some head work a nice cam(not wild). Motor also has a gear drive so it sounds like it has a blower. There was aprox 5000 dollars spent on the motor. Truck has a beefed up 350 trans with a 3000 stall converter and a narrowed 12 bolt rear with 342 gears. Truck has a super nice exhaust tone there's an alum intake with a holly dual feed. The truck is extremely fast but very docile as long as you don't put your foot in it. Truck is very streetable with power disc brakes power steering and AC. The rear frame was narrowed but still retains leaf springs. I can find no rust or any evidence of rust repair which tells me they must have started with a rust free 62 chev truck. Body and paint is excellent. here is a small minor scrape in the lower right rear corner. I'll try to show it in the pictures. There is an alum fuel cell in the rear of the bed. All of the handles were shaved and the rear of the bed is all moulded in. The red paint has a very fine flake in it which is very well done. All of the trim is either new or redone. There is a set of dolphin gauges and a digital tach. The build only has 2900 miles on it since it was done. The interior is all redone and beautiful. All of the tinted glass is new. I cannot say enough about this truck. he build quality is excellent. You can hop right in it and start enjoying it the day you buy it. I set a very reasonable reserve on it which I. sure is a fraction of the build cost. I. sure I. forgetting something so feel free to contact me. I have a free and clear title in my nameI will require a 500. 00 dollar deposit at the end of the auction
