This is my baby up for sale. Upgrading to the new Z06. Time for the 2009 twin turbo to find a new home. This car has never seen snow. I bought this car new and had the STS twin turbo kit installed 6 month later. The twin turbo system turned the car into a monster that is absolutely fun to drive during the summer/fall corvette club events and trips. This car truly has no equals on the road when it comes to raw power and it's drive ability. This STS twin turbo system has the 2-stage booster controller that lets you choose between 7 or 13 pounds of boost. Methanol injection further increases the horsepower on the warmer humid nights. The car has some great graphics that you can see in the pictures and it has a great radar/laser detection system that is built into the car. I have NEVER had a ticket with this system--and I will tell you that it has saved my hide plenty of times. I just installed new tires on the front of the car this year. The car STILL HAS the original rear tires on it. The is a testament to how I drive this car. I do not do burn outs! Although the car can spin the tires in the first 3 gears without difficulty. I have not abused this car at the track. I will admit that I have taken the car to the drag strip a few times with the corvette club and run it down the strip. there is not many street cars out there that can keep up with this corvette. The looks I get driving this car always puts a smile on my face. The sound of the STS exhaust and the distinctive whine of the turbos when they spool up are amazing. People always give the thumbs up and have to ask about the car while at stop lights. If you purchase this car. you will enjoy it. There is no manufacture warranty left on the car----and I am selling it as is.
