The owner has had the car for fifteen years. The Camaro was purchased out of Boise. Idaho and has been driven sparingly since. This unique Camaro RS/SS has VIN# 124679N55278. so far so good. It's the 396/350 although block numbers appear to have been machined (likely deck work) and only partial remain on cylinder head. This late 1968 production car has code T712 custom black bucket with HEADREST DELETE. The car does not have the 'tach option' U16/U17. and it does not have the front or rear shakers (we don't know why). The transmission is CC67 with 8254 production number. The full trim tag shows: ST69 12467 NOR 189063 BDY. TR 712. C1 B PNT. 11 D. The rear back up lights are under the bumper. headlight louvered operating doors. hood is cowl induction with under hood insulation. dual exhaust. single fuel line. Rear end is 12 bolt w/casting #3894860 and mfg. date of J38 (i. e. . Oct 3. 1968). All panels appear to be original!The Deluxe black interior is very clean. both front bucket seats are in very good condition. as are the moldings. The top is very clean and in very good condition. rear window is like new. The top is fully operational as are all dash gauges. windows. door handles and locks. . The trunk is clean throughout. The car has been painted Silver metallic with Black stripping as shown in the photos.
