Description

Going overseas, elling my beloved project artand history piece. No nothing works, 've just been slowly cleaning it up, ut it has all its parts, xcept the exhaust pipes which were taken out. Have all the seats, ut they need reapholstery and I took them out to clean the inside of the car. Transmission is in the trunk since I bought this from a friend. At least the trunk pan can hold that weight. Mostly solid metal, xcept surface rust, back side of wheel wells next to the trunk are rusted through. Look at the photos, he inside is actually pretty solid, hough front floor panelsneed replacing as rusted out. I've painted the floors black over that red primer. Some bondo on wheel wells. Engine does actually turn now after I let it sit with Magic Mystery Oil. With a big socket I turned the crankshaft seven turns each way before it goes no further. Not sure what that means. The front shocks of course are shot, o they had 4-inch little squares of wood to shore that up. Maybe a rubber stop goes there or if the shocks are good it rides higher? I took the wood piecesout so they don't just fall out when raised with a tow. I included pictures of both so tell me which way you want. It's rolling stock, ut no working brakes so needs a flatbed, on't think a regular tow truck would work.

If you’re a car guy, ith tools or a shop, his could be a good resto. Others though, AY NO! SAY NO! Your wife will kill you! You never got that 50s Ford running and now you’re gonna do it again? On the other hand, he wouldn’t let you have that mancave downstairs with the paneling. Are we gonna take that? NO! Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? I’m not gonna take that. I’m gonna get Lee Marvin, am Peckinpah, ohn Cassavettes, nd a case of whiskey, nd drive down to Texas…..hold on wife’s calling me..
