Description

I am selling my 1971 250. The car itself is very special to me, nd has been taken care very well.
A little about the car...Originates from Southern California, nd was owned by the same owner for 38 years. He was meticulous on keeping records and repairs.
All the original paper work;full book of car maintenance history maintaince stickers, s well as all the original pre inspection paperwork, re purchase inspection papers, in plate, aint brochures, wners manual, arts manual, ealer location book, etter from the dealer of congratulations etc., wner vin stamp plateI also have an enormous amount of registrationinsurance cards dating back from '71 Up until 2007 all from the same owner.
Exterior--Original MB Tobacco brown paint, nbsp;it still holds a shine great. As one would expect there are a few scuffs and scratches here and there but nothing at all major. This car is a prime example of an unaltered unmolested original. It has the rare slim European bumpers.
Interior --Pristine, he wood and MB tex are in outstanding condition. Fully functioning Becker Europa Radio. Very visually appealing original interior. headliner is in great shape, nbsp;*sun visor needs new clips
The car comes with vintage original unused coco matts that still have the tags on them. These were the must have floor matts back in the day.
Mechanically--Since I've owned it the fuel lines have been cleaned out as well as the gas tank. Both carbs have been completely taken apart and timed. The car has had a new head gasket kit seal put in. The front window seal has been replaced. As well as Brand new tires all the way around as of two weeks ago. Over 3,000 dollars in recent repairs.
The car runs and drives great. as within any old car up keep is needed and there will always be something to keep up on. But with proper care this car is only going to appreciate in value. I would be keeping it but just don't have the garage space.
Thanks for looking, appy bidding!

All bids are final, uyer is responsible for fulfilling payment before the release of the car.
