1966 Jaguar 3.8S E-Type or XKE performance with four doors 3.8 engine S Type

1966 Jaguar 3.8 S with original matching number engine that runs strong and sounds fantastic. This is an original California Jaguar with blue license plates. The original color was Willow Green and was changed to black many years ago. The body is very straight and dry with the exception of two very small rust spots just behind the rear passenger doors. I bought this a few years ago with the intention of doing a light restoration. I don't know the condition of the transmission but would assume it will at least need to be resealed and that the brakes will need to belooked atafter sitting for many years. I have removed and had the fuel tanks cleaned. I bypassed the fuel tanks and used a gas can tostart and runthe engine, o smoke or unusual sounds, t purrs! New paint and interior would be in order for a very beautiful Jaguar. I will make this available for inspection with an appointment before the auction ends.
