2006 Chrysler 300 SRT8 6.1 Hemi SRT Salvage Flood water Runs and Drives Black

Black with Red Stripes 2006 Chrysler 300 SRT8 that was water damaged. I purchased this vehicle from an insurance company. First off. this isn't your standard water damaged vehicle. The carpet was dry and showed no signs of water until I pulled the carpet up. and it was damp in the padding. I pulled it all out and dried it out and cleaned it all. The car must have got into some deeper water. and sucked water up through the air filter and into the cylinders. I had the vehicle sent to a professional mechanic shop for repairs. They found a broken connecting rod. No other damage was found to the block or motor. I had them replace the broken connecting rod and a new piston both purchased from dodge. As you can see in the picture of the bottom of the engine. everything looked good including the journal. it was a clean break. I have a copy of the bill for the repairs showing they replaced the following:Intake GasketCylinder head gasketOil Pan windage trayPiston and Rod and RingsAll with mopar parts! The transmission was checked for water prior to starting and none was found. Once the repairs were completed the vehicle started right up. The motor sounds great and the transmission shifts smoothly. All the electronics in the car work to my knowledge. There are no warning lights on either on the speedometer! The interior is in good shape with no odors. the drivers seat has some blistering but no tears or worn through. All the exterior lights work including blinkers. side markers. nbsp;licensee plate bulbs work!A few things to note: The navigation disk is missing. The power seat cover to move the seat forward and back is missing. but the seat does move forward and back when you hit driver 1 or 2. so I know the power is working good. It will need tires soon. The sliding cover for the sun roof has some grease on the rear of it. but this is only seen if you slide the cover up to keep the sun out. It needs new hood struts for the hood to stay up automatically when opened. The car has a few small dings here and there but overall I would say the body is in above average shape for a car that is 9 years old and 123. 03 miles on it.
