1963 Imperial Custom 2dr Coupe
1 of 749 Custom 2dr coupes built for 1963.
The body has rust on the lower areas. Lower fenders, ear wheel lip/quarters. There are holes in the front pans. Rear pan seems solid. Trunk pan looks solid. Hood has rust above where the battery sits. Probably due to acid. some small holes around trunk weatherstrip area. The photos tell the story. The hood is not attached to the hinges. Trim on doors and part of quarter gone. Trunk lock assembly is gone. I do have keys for the ignition and doors. I also have the key for the trunk and the lock cylinder and arm. Has all 4 hubcaps.
Interior is as you see. The front door panels are gone. Door sill plates gone. Seats are cloth and weathered. Headliner is toast. The front power window motors are gone. The master switch wiring was cut but the wiring and connector as well as the master switch is in the trunk. Rear window switches are missing...not sure if motors are or not. Front seat is power. The base surround is in the trunk with the switch knob that appears to be apart. Radio clicked on and might actually be good. Glass all looks good.
413 big block V8 coupled to a pushbutton A727 Torqueflite Transmission. I got the car running. The engine does miss but I have not touched the wires, lugs or done any tuning. Gauges showed good oil pressure and no overheating after running for a bit. Coolant in the radiator is nice and green. The transmission did go into forward and reverse.
Could be restored but probably best for parts or as an engine donor. There are several extra regulators and motors, n extra tailight bezel, umper jack, oor handles, tc. in the trunk. Tires hold air.
Car is located in Williams, alifornia. I can assist in loading.
I do have a title and original aluminum keys (and copies) for the car.
